1. About these terms

These terms apply to all work, quotes and services provided by SJ Gas Solutions, 59 James St, Barnsley S71 1BL. By engaging us you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes & estimates

Written quotes are valid for 30 days. Verbal estimates are indicative only — final pricing depends on the work actually required on site. Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before being carried out.

3. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger installations a deposit may be required. We accept bank transfer and cash. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

4. Warranties

Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Manufacturer warranties on parts and appliances vary and are passed through to you in full where applicable. The warranty does not cover faults caused by misuse, third-party interference, or lack of recommended servicing.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a booked appointment are free. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a small call-out fee to cover lost work.

6. Access & safety

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. If we identify a gas safety hazard we are required by law to make it safe — this may include disconnecting an appliance until it can be repaired.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the works carried out. We hold full public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or anything which cannot be limited under UK law.

8. Complaints

If anything isn't right, please call 07766 042243 — we aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Gas safety complaints can also be reported to the Gas Safe Register.
